Alfred Pierce
A Matter of Record

Privacy Policy

Alfred Pierce (“Alfred Pierce”, “we”, “us”) provides a hosted AI employee service available at alfredpierce.com and app.alfredpierce.com, and through messaging integrations such as Slack and Telegram (together, the “Service”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it is protected, and the choices available to you. We have written it to be read, not merely published.

I.Information We Collect

II.Google User Data

If you choose to connect a Google account, Alfred requests access only to the Google services you select when granting consent. You may connect basic sign-in alone, or additionally authorise individual Google Workspace services. The categories of Google user data we may access, and the sole purposes for which each is used, are as follows:

Google dataWhat Alfred does with it
Basic profile
(email address, profile identifiers)
Identifies the Google account you have connected and associates it with your workspace. Used for authentication only.
Google Calendar Reads your calendars and events, and creates or amends events, when you ask him to check availability, schedule appointments, prepare briefings, or keep standing routines that involve your diary.
Google Drive Creates, lists, reads, and organises the Drive files Alfred creates through the Service. This permission does not allow him to browse or retrieve other files from your Drive.
Google Docs Reads and drafts or edits documents when you ask him to summarise, review, or write on your behalf.
Google Sheets Reads and writes spreadsheet contents when you ask him to compile figures, maintain ledgers, or update records.
Google Contacts Looks up contact names and details when you ask him to address correspondence or coordinate scheduling with people you know.

Alfred accesses Google user data only in the course of performing a task you have asked of him, or a standing routine you have configured. He does not roam your account uninvited.

Alfred Pierce's use and transfer to any other application of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Limited use, in plain terms

III.How Information Is Used

We use the information described above to operate the Service: to carry out the tasks you assign, to keep the memories and routines you establish, to maintain your connected integrations, to meter and bill usage, to secure the Service, and to provide support when you ask for it. We do not build advertising profiles, and we have no advertising to show you in any case.

IV.Storage and Security

Each workspace is an isolated tenancy: its own computer, its own filesystem, and its own credential vault, encrypted field by field. Data is encrypted in transit using TLS and encrypted at rest. OAuth tokens for connected services, including Google, are held only in your workspace's vault and are never shared between workspaces. No client of the Service may reach into another's data, credentials, or environment.

Access to production systems by our personnel is restricted, logged, and permitted only for operating, securing, and supporting the Service.

V.Sharing and Subprocessors

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising. Your data is processed by a small number of infrastructure subprocessors strictly as necessary to provide the Service:

Beyond this, we disclose data only if required by law, or as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition, in which case you will be notified beforehand.

VI.Retention and Deletion

Workspace content is retained for as long as your workspace remains active, so that Alfred's memory may serve you. Google user data retrieved in the course of a task is used to perform that task; where results are kept (for example, a report Alfred filed in your workspace), they remain under your workspace's control.

When you disconnect a Google service, we cease accessing it and delete the associated tokens from your vault. When a workspace is terminated, or upon your request, we delete its content — conversations, files, memories, and stored credentials — within thirty (30) days, save for records we are legally required to keep and encrypted backups that expire on a fixed schedule of no more than ninety (90) days.

To request deletion of your data, write to support@alfredpierce.com.

VII.Your Choices and Revocation

VIII.Children

The Service is offered to businesses and professionals. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under sixteen (16) years of age.

IX.Changes to This Policy

Should this policy change in any material respect, we will post the revised version at this address and update the effective date above. Where a change meaningfully affects how Google user data is handled, we will notify workspace administrators by email before it takes effect.

X.How to Reach Us

Questions on any of the above are welcome at support@alfredpierce.com. We answer them candidly, as is the house custom.
